Here is a Test Kit pH of the brand Platinium Instrumentsbrand, which can be used for hydroponics or potting soil.
The Platinium Test Kit of pH contains:
- a liquid color reagent providing 200 pH tests (capacity: 30 ml),
- a label with a table of color correspondences (from pH 4 to pH 8 with a precision of +/- 0.5),
- a plastic bottle with its cap.
Instructions for use :
- take the nutritive solution (water + fertilizers) that you wish to bring to your plants, so as to fill the bottle included to the half of its height;
- pour three drops of the color reagent, close and stir
- compare the color obtained with the corresponding label;
- correct your pH according to the substrate used, using a pH Down horticultural solution.
