Information :
For a successful lettuce crop, opt for a partially sunny spot, even on a balcony if necessary. Space plants 30 cm apart and water regularly. Since slugs and snails have a penchant for lettuces, we recommend protecting crops with netting.
Practical tip: Stagger your sowing so that you can harvest lettuces in stages, ensuring a constant supply.
In the kitchen: Lettuce is best enjoyed raw, with a vinaigrette. However, certain varieties, such as romaine lettuce, can also be cooked, especially in dishes like spring gardeners. You can even cook their flowering heads like asparagus.
