    Organically grown (AB)

    Good to know:

    Sowing: April / July
    Harvest: July / October

Rich in vitamins, nutritious and refreshing, green beans are an excellent choice for a healthy diet.

The dwarf Aiguillon bean, with its delicate netting, is distinguished by its abundant production. Its long, slender, flavorful pods are a delight to eat, without string when young. This variety shows good resistance to disease and is ideal for preserving, either in jars or by freezing.

Sowing: April to May, once the frosts have passed and the soil has warmed up. Sowing periods vary according to bean type:

    • Green beans: staggered sowing until the end of July.
    • Fresh beans: staggered sowing until July 15.
    • Dry beans: staggered sowing until June 15.

For dwarf varieties: place 5 to 6 seeds in bunches, staggered every 40 cm, with rows 40 cm apart. For rowing varieties: 6 to 7 seeds per bunch, staggered every 50 cm, with rows 70 cm apart and a maximum of 2 to 3 rows per bed.

Prepare healthy, loose, fresh, light, humus-rich soil. Ensure sunny, warm exposure, as well as regular watering and hoeing for optimal growth and a generous harvest.
