Harvest: July / OctoberThis ancient Indian variety produces light-green, oblong, potato-sized fruits. Sweet, crunchy and juicy, they turn brown when ripe. It's an early, hardy and productive variety, ripening in 55 to 80 days.
For a good harvest, choose a sunny, warm position, and cover the stems to avoid moisture on the fruit. Sow from March to May, starting with 3 seeds per bucket and selecting the best plants for transplanting. Thin the plants and water regularly. Harvest from July to October
