    Organically grown (AB)

    Good to know:

    Sowing: March / May
    Harvest: June / September

A highly productive variety, this plant can produce 6 to 8 fruits per plant. Fruits measure between 30 and 50 cm long, with firm, dense white flesh, few seeds and no bitterness. Ideal for growing under cover or outdoors champthis variety is an improvement on the famous Long Anglais.

    Sowing and planting :

Sowing: March to May, in pots.
Transplanting: When plants have 3 leaves and frosts are no longer a concern, transplant into healthy, cool, loose, humus-bearing soil.

Cucumbers are generally "runner" varieties, producing long stems that can occupy 2-3 m². To optimize space in small vegetable gardens, encourage plants to grow high up on a wire fence. Help them to position themselves on their support, and the tendrils will do the rest. This method improves light exposure, prevents the fruit from becoming soiled and makes harvesting easier, and it works for gherkins too.
