    Blue Scotch Curled Kale

Discover blue Scotch curled kale, a robust variety with rustic charm, designed to defy the most intense cold. Its curly, striking bluish-green leaves will transport you to a unique culinary experience. Imagine a delicately sweet taste, enhanced by hints of hazelnut, offering a whole new palette of flavors.

    Successful kale sowing

Dive into the adventure from February to June, by sowing your seeds in a well-prepared nursery to a depth of 0.5 cm. Let the seeds nestle in the soil without pressure, as they will soon embrace the light with vigor, reaching maturity in about 50 days.

    Planting kale

When the time is right, carefully transplant the seedlings, spacing them 80 cm apart so that they can grow freely. Give them generous, fertile soil bathed in sunlight, and don't forget to pamper them with a soft mulch and regular watering at the base. If lady Nature announces severe frosts, wrap them in a protective winter veil, like a warm embrace.

Like a versatile artist, kale adapts to rich, clay soils, but also to many other types of soil, as long as they offer freshness and love.

    Harvest

When the time is right, harvest kale leaves from June to September, and let yourself be intoxicated by their freshness and crunchiness.

    Enemies

On the way to this gastronomic adventure, slugs can sneak in, but don't worry, well-placed barriers will deter them. To counter the whitefly, rely on tansy decoctions or opt for anti-insect netting, vigilant guardians of your precious harvest.
