Lollo bionda leaf lettuce is a real star in your vegetable garden. Finely curled, it's as voluminous as it is generous, offering you abundant leaves to harvest as and when you need them.
What makes this lettuce even more special is its resistance. Low susceptibility to internal necrosis and bolting, and to the dreaded mildew. A true warrior that guarantees a consistent, tasty harvest all season long.
Growing it is child's play. You can sow the seeds from February-March under cover, or wait until April-August to sow them directly in the garden champ. Light sowing in a nursery or under a frame, then simply transplant the plants once they have a few leaves, spacing them 20 cm apart in all directions. Choose a sunny spot in fertile, moist, cool soil, and you're done.
In just 6 to 8 weeks, from April to October, you'll be able to start harvesting your beautiful lollo bionda leaf lettuces, to the delight of your taste buds. An invitation to freshness and simplicity, to be enjoyed without moderation.
