    Good to know :

    Sowing: February / August
    Harvest: April / October

Finely curled and wavy red leaf lettuce has an attractive appearance and delicate flavor. It is versatile, being able to be harvested young as needed or left to mature for a full harvest. This variety is ideal for season-long cultivation and is ideal for small gardens.

For successful sowing of red leaf lettuce, we recommend starting in February-March under cover, then continuing from April to August outdoors champ. Seeds should be clearly sown in a nursery or under a frame, then transplanted once the plants have developed a few leaves. Choose a sunny spot in fertile, well-drained soil rich in organic matter, spacing the plants 20 cm apart in all directions.

Harvesting can start as early as 6 to 8 weeks after sowing, and continue from April to October, as required. Pick the outer leaves as they grow, taking care not to remove more than a third of the plant at a time to ensure continuous regrowth.

With its aesthetic and gustatory qualities, finely curled and wavy red leaf lettuce is a valuable addition to any vegetable garden, offering freshness and flavor throughout the growing season.
