Tanja cucumbers:
- Soil maintenance : before sowing, loosen the soil on 30 cm
- Exposure: sunny and sheltered from the wind
- Sowing: at a depth of 3.5 cm in pots of 2 to 3 seeds. Thin out to leave only one seedling every 90 cm and 130 cm between rows then hoe and weed
- Raising: in 6 to 8 days in soil at 14°C
- Watering: water to allow the seed to soak and swell, then stop watering until it rises. Please note that if your cucumbers are watered regularly they will be less bitter
- Harvest : a regular harvest induces a high production
- Storage: about ten days in the vegetable bin
- Origin: originally from India, the cucumber has been cultivated for more than 3,000 years in Western Asia
