What is a Platinium Hydroponics?
Platinium Hydroponics specializes in hydroponic growing systems. This Franco-Quebec alliance has developed a range of innovative systems of unrivalled quality. Manufactured in 100% food-grade ABS, these systems offer total modularity, hence the name of the range: modular.
The Modular range includes both hydroponic and aeroponic systems. You can easily switch from one to the other! Modular systems take less than 10 minutes to set up, whatever the size. In fact, these systems are available in 40x40cm, 60x60cm, 40x90cm, 80x80cm, 60x110cm, 100x100cm, 120x120cm and 200x100cm, the standard sizes for most grow rooms.
What types of system are available for the modular range?
As mentioned above, the Platinium Hydroponics Modular range will enable you to switch easily from one growing method to another.

- Ebb & Flow: Tidal table. This system is designed to allow water to run off more easily, thus preventing the development of mold and mildew caused by stagnant water.
- Hydro-Stone: NFT. This system allows indiscriminate cultivation in rockwool or pots
- Hydro-Star: Drip. This hydroponic drip system lets you grow with clay ball. Each pot can be served individually, allowing you to water each plant according to its needs.
- Aero-Star: Aeroponics. Same principle ashydro-star, except that these systems have an aero plate for each pot.
- Hydro-Pro: Drip irrigation. TheHydro Pro is a hydroponic drip system that lets you grow with clay pebbles. The pots are larger than those of the hydrostar.
- Aero-Pro: Aeroponics. Same principle ashydro-pro, except that these systems have an aero plate for each pot. These plates allow you to grow from 1 to 4 plants per pot, depending on the model.
- Aero-top: Aeroponics. It consists of a tray that acts as a root chamber with the aero-top. This ensures perfect oxygenation and optimum growth.
- Hydro-Star Big Pot: Drip irrigation. Same features asHydro-Star, with the notable difference that the pots are larger (18L or 25L).
- Super-cloner: Buttonhole. A type of aeroponic system, but reserved exclusively for cloning plants.
- Pyramid: Vertical aeroponics. The 2014 Innovation Award. An aeroponic system that amplifies yield by doubling the ground surface.
