It can be grown in pots or window boxes, on terraces and balconies. To sow, soak seeds in water for about twenty hours to facilitate emergence, then dry. Sow lightly in rows in a cool spot from March to mid-May, then in mid-July for a winter harvest. Parsley should be grown in a shady spot in summer and sunny for the other seasons, with regular watering.
