Measuring the environment
What equipment should I use to monitor the weather?
Keeping an eye on the weather and using measuring equipment is essential for indoor cultivation. Here's a look at some of the equipment you'll need to do what's best for your plants.
What can you find out with a weather station?
The first essential piece of equipment for monitoring the weather is a weather station. At a glance, it will tell you not only the latest weather forecasts, but also the temperature inside and outside, and the humidity in your home and in the air outside. This way, you'll know immediately if you need to change the settings in your grow room.
Why install a temperature camera?
To keep a close eye on the temperature of your plants, you'll need to place a camera equipped with a thermal sensor near them. This way, you can easily monitor the weather in your grow room thanks to this measuring device. Some models of temperature camera can stop, dim or switch on the lighting in your grow room to help your plants grow even when you're not there.
Why use a humidity sensor?
Humidity can be your indoor grower's best friend or worst enemy. Too little and your plants will dry out. Too much, and they could rot in a matter of hours, with no hope of recovery. To counter this, we strongly recommend the use of a humidity sensor. Depending on the model you select, a humidity sensor can activate or deactivate the humidifier in your system, depending on your settings. So, whether you're present or not, you can be sure that your plants or flowers will receive the best care.
To optimize the care of your propagation chamber, we recommend that you choose compatible weather elements and measuring devices from the same brand.
